PHENOMENA Upcycled Kimono – Hand Stitched Embroidery

Kimono reinterpreted through tailoring interventions and hand embroidery.

The garment originates from an original kimono and was later modified in the PHENOMENA studio with textile inserts, visible seams and free hand stitching.

The stitches move across the fabric like traces, transforming the garment into a unique piece where Japanese aesthetics meets contemporary craftsmanship.

Every intervention has been executed by hand.
